The British Freestyle Tae kwon do Association was founded on the 1st November 1994 by master Ron Davidson 7th Degree.

The BFTA was Granted charter school status by Grandmaster Kwang 9th Degree of the unified international tae Kwon do Federation on 1st January 2008.

We teach the traditional ITF Syllabus with the addition of Korean weapons (sword and Short Stick)

The BFTA holds regular training seminars and coloured belt and black belt grading.
